Hi! We’re Laura and Kaden, the family behind Faithful Oaks Farm.
Health, real food, and intentional living have been a personal passion of ours for many years. Over time, we became increasingly frustrated by how difficult it had become to find foods made with simple, recognizable ingredients and traditional preparation methods.
We believe good health starts with what’s on our plates. In a world of overly processed foods and unnecessary additives, we’re passionate about creating simple, wholesome foods made with ingredients we trust for our family and yours.
We moved to our farm in 2022, and since then we’ve been steadily building this dream — learning new skills, caring for our animals, and creating small batch foods rooted in quality and tradition.
Our chickens are raised on pasture and exclusively fed organic feed from a local mill, so when you buy eggs from us, you’re also supporting local agriculture and thoughtfully raised food.
Our meat birds are also raised on pasture and fed to the same high standards as our laying flock. We even ferment their feed — an extra step that takes time and intention, but one we believe contributes to healthier birds and exceptional flavor.
During farmers market season, we create small batch breads made from organic whole grains that we mill fresh on the farm for each batch. Fresh milling helps preserve as much of the grain’s natural flavor and nutrition as possible, creating breads that are both wholesome and deeply flavorful.
We also leave the entire grain intact rather than sifting out the bran and germ, resulting in flour that is more flavorful, nourishing, and true to the grain itself.
If you think you don’t like whole wheat bread, think again — freshly milled whole grain bread tastes nothing like the dense, overly processed ‘wheat bread’ found in most stores.
One day, we hope to grow our own wheat right here at Faithful Oaks Farm as well.
