Fresh Milled Bread Care
All of our breads and baked goods are made with freshly milled whole unsifted grains.
Because fresh-milled flour retains the natural oils, bran, and nutrients of the grain, our breads behave differently than commercial grocery store breads made with highly processed flour and preservatives.

This is normal — and part of what makes real bread special.
STORAGE TIPS
For best quality:
Store at room temperature in a bread bag, beeswax wrap, or loosely wrapped in a towel
Avoid refrigeration (it can dry bread out faster)
If keeping longer than 2–3 days, slice and freeze
To freeze:
Slice first, then store in an airtight bag or container. Toast or warm directly from frozen.
